Purpose built facilities

At Belmore School, our facilities are second to none.

Safe, purpose built classrooms (complete with ceiling hoists and kitchenette) and a playground with specially designed recreation areas (including a sensory garden) create a secure yet stimulating environment.

We also provide a fully equipped aquatics centre, physiotherapy gymnasium, sensory room and dedicated art and music spaces.

Our school is thoroughly modern and extremely well maintained.

From standing frames, to walkers, to hoists and specialised bikes, our extensive range of purpose-designed equipment supports students with all manner of physical disabilities.

Our Information and Communications Technology (ICT) equipment is also leading edge: students can access interactive TVs, modified computers, notebooks and iPads and tailored education software.

Our purpose-built gym is fully equipped with a trampoline, treadmills, stairs, parallel bars, and bolster swing.

Our sensory room incorporates use of light, sound and specialised equipment operated through the aid of switches to enable all users to interact with the multi-sensory space.
